The ceremony officially initiated 31 Cornell students as the brothers and founders of Phi Gamma Nu. Seven executive board members were sworn in as the chapter chairmen of the founding class: Co-President: Ji Choi Co-President: Ekaterina Munina Vice-President: Anna Chan Treasurer: Drew Conklin Secretary: Alan Christophe Co-Editor: Zeyu Zhu Co-Editor: Joyce Wang Each brother has pledged under oath to the values and traditions upheld by Phi Gamma Nu and to embrace each other with loyalty, honesty, and dedication for the brotherhood bond. These outstanding members have displayed unwavering allegiance to the brotherhood and achieved unmatched potential and success for leadership, professionalism, and academic merit. With the completion of the ceremonies, Phi Gamma Nu has taken the first major step toward establishing itself as the leading student business organization at Cornell University. The ensuing celebration had shown the joyous and proud faces of every brother, and it is without doubt an exceedingly memorable event for the entire brotherhood. However, the wonderful ceremonial decorations and the post-induction reception would not have been possible without the effort invested by the brothers who gave up much of their free time to help out. Here Phi Gamma Nu would like to extend its gracious appreciation to all those (you know who you are!) who decided to forgo parties and to wake early to carry out all the purchasing, transporting and decorating for the induction ceremony. The brotherhood has yet a way to go to extend our reach to the entire Cornell community and the business industry, but the impressively rapid progress in the past few weeks have shown the remarkable capabilities and talents of every committee. We are confident that the Phi Gamma Nu Delta Omicron Chapter, with the commitment of every brother and no less, shall rise above all expectations and give every brother the experience of a lifetime.
